(absolute) absence of domination
Anarchy means that no one dominates, and no one is dominated. Usually refers to the time period in human existence before the rise of civilization and agriculture.

Anarchy sometimes confused with chaos but has nothing to do with it.Anarchy is about cooperation, sharing, and learning to live together chaos is being a cop or a soldier .Anarchy peace and equality is what anarchy means to me and it just means with out rule
I was on crimethinc.com and found some books on anarchy and femmenism.

1. The belief that nothing is more important than an individual's sense of right and wrong.
2. A society made of individuals who believe in anarchy.
1.The student suddenly understood anarchy when he saw his friends work and cooperate without any bosses, orders, or commands.

idea that would work in a perfect world where no one is power hungry or greedy

anarchism is the only way to respect people. It is based on self-knowledge: when you deeply know yourself and you're in contact with your nature, you have a perfect contact with other human beings and you can understand everyone's needs. Other lifestyles are offensive for human beings, cause they admit that we cannot manage our lives by ourselves but we need a chief, a boss, a head of state and so on... so we admit that we need someone to tell us what to do. It's offensive for our intelligence.

Anyway, we love to be stupid slaves so anarchy cannot work.
am i really free right now in anarchy? please tell me what i have to do right now!

1. An idea misinterpreted by "punks" to mean chaos and a complete lack of structure in society.

2. A society with no government in which people work cooperatively to thrive. The ideal of communism. Theoretically, this is completely possible - as long as people in a society are not conditioned to crave power, everyone can work together at the same level in peace.
1. ANARCHY IS COOL!!! (probably knows nothing about the true meaning of anarchy...)

2. Anarchy, or something very close to it, exists in hunting-gathering societies. It cannot exist in today's advanced, industrial societies because people in these societies are conditioned to crave power and money. However, if we started things all over from the beginning and really tried to make a collective, anarchist system work, it could, in theory, last forever.

Some ignoramusses (spelling is not my strong point)would call anarchy merely doing whatever you want. This system would not work. Real anarchy is what is best for everybody. It is where everyone acts in their own interests whilst taking into account the wishes of others. In an anarchic state, religeon, government, and other such institutionalised ways of thinking/organistations would not exist. Anarchy is the perfect way to live, but sadly, falls into the same catergory as communism in the eyes of the US and other capitalist world powers. We are told to belive that anarchy is a bad thing, but most do not know what it means. It has been assigned it's negative connotation (pure chaos) by governments worldwide, in order to preserve the system. The system of discrimination and hatred, which is leading you deeper and deeper down the dark road of oppression and subjigation.
"Anarchy rules muthafuckers! And you don't even know what it really means, yet you choose to oppose it."
