Duplicate bridge slang for Little Old Lady. LOLs are the opponents you sit down to play across from who look so sweet, just like your Grandma. They always sit North-South because the director thought they looked too feeble to get up and move every few hands. At the end of the round, when it's time for you to go to the next table, you realize that these LOLs have stomped you and your partner deep into the ground. But sweetly.
You: Damn, we would have placed if it hadn't been for those LOLs at table 4!

Partner: LOL!

Laugh out loud.
Sometimes really old people think it things like, "lots of love," or, ask what it means.
Used when someone is laughing, but of course you can't see them, so they say, "LOL"

Also the same meaning,

It all pretty much means laughing.
Usually used when a person is bored, and with a blank expression on there face.
"I'M A BANANA!!!!!!!!!"

"p-p-p-poker face, p-p-poker faceeeeeee!"

Short for laughed out loud, the apostrophe differentiates it from LOL (laugh out loud). Often LOLed is written to mean this but you can't laugh out louded.
Should I be ashamed that I L'OL at that?

Stands for Laugh Out Loud or Laughing Out Loud. This is commonly used throughout text/the internet, used to express amusement between other people. LOL is not to be confused with Lots of Love, which can often lead to awkward/bad moments if the two get mixed up.*
